DNA sequence analysis of plastid-encoded psbA and UPA. mitochondrion-encoded COI. and nuclear-encoded LSU rDNA of rhodolith-forming crustose coralline algal specimens from the northwestern Gulf of Mexico reveals that Mesophyllum erubescens (Foslie) Me.
